WhatsApp Business Platform and Meta Data
Styleroom integrates with the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. When a business using our platform connects its own WhatsApp Business Account to Styleroom, we process certain data made available to us through Meta's APIs ("Platform Data") in order to provide messaging services on that business's behalf.
The Platform Data we may process includes the WhatsApp Business Account ID, business phone number and phone number ID, message templates, the content and delivery status of messages sent to and received from customers, and the customer phone numbers and profile information needed to deliver those messages.
We use this data solely to provide the messaging services requested — sending transactional notifications such as order confirmations, shipping updates, and one-time passwords; sending marketing messages where the recipient has opted in; creating and managing message templates; and routing replies — and to operate, maintain, and improve these services.
We process Platform Data in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We do not sell Platform Data, and we do not use it for any purpose other than providing the services described above. We store it securely using industry-standard safeguards and restrict access to it.
We use trusted infrastructure providers, including Amazon Web Services, to host and process this data on our behalf. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations and may only process the data to provide services to us.
We retain Platform Data only as long as necessary to provide the services or as required by law. Message content and delivery logs are automatically deleted from our systems on a scheduled basis after 2 days. Account connection data — such as the WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, and access credentials — is retained for as long as the business's account remains connected to Styleroom, and is deleted upon disconnection. A business may disconnect at any time, and may request earlier deletion by contacting us at support@styleroom.in.
